British Airways will return to daily traffic to London in the second half of June.
Recovery from the coronavirus pandemic continues. At the beginning of June, two more carriers will resume direct flights from Prague, coincidentally with the same owners. These are Iberia and British Airways, which belong to the International Airlines Group.
The return was confirmed today on social networks by Prague Airport. Iberia will fly to Madrid from June 2 three times a week: Sunday, Tuesday and Friday. Ryanair is also scheduled to fly to Madrid on May 22.
From 4 June, British Airways will also start flying from Prague with a flight to London’s main airport, Heathrow. So far, the flight plan envisages three flights a week, and daily from the second half of July. From June 3, they will start flying to London as well Smartwings.
The resumption of air traffic is still gradual, the return of some routes will occur during May. CSA will start flying from Prague to Copenhagen from Wednesday, and from June to Odessa, Keflavík, Amsterdam and Malta.
