“Other Boys” have concluded their Eurovision concert tour with a performance in Madrid

The band “Other Boys” performed at the Eurovision Song Contest in Madrid last week, performing the song “Eat Your Salad”, which continues to win the sympathy of fans all over Europe.

The PrePartyES 2022 event in Madrid was the last of Eurovision’s five warm-up events. Prior to that, Other Boys successfully participated in similar events in London, Tel Aviv, Amsterdam and Barcelona. “These warm-up events are a great opportunity to introduce our song and its message to foreign listeners. All these concerts are like a small Eurovision, where each participant fights for the attention of fans and the European media, and our goal is to address each of them. With the help of these media platforms and social networks, we want to reach new listeners who could vote for us on May 10 in the Eurovision semi-finals, ”comments the group’s soloist Jānis Pētersons.

“The concert was excellent, of course, we didn’t live without rampage, because at the end of the performance, Jānis, similarly to the warm-up event of the Eurovision Song Contest in London, jumped into the crowd again. This time it ended successfully and the fans caught him for the first time. The remaining two weeks before departure for Italy will be used to polish the details of the performance, absorb energy and do everything we can to take Latvia back to the finals of the Eurovision Song Contest, ”says Dagnis Roziņš, the group’s saxophonist.

It should be recalled that “Other Boys” will perform in the first semifinals on May 10 at the 66th International Eurovision Song Contest in Turin, Italy. Albania, Switzerland, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Ukraine, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Denmark, Armenia, Austria, Croatia, Iceland and Greece will also take part. The second semi-final of Eurovision will take place on May 12, the final – on May 14.
