Otávio is again shielded by a release clause of 60 million euros, after the reduction to 40 million euros expired at the end of yesterday (Saturday).
In this way, it seems increasingly evident that the 28-year-old midfielder will continue to represent FC Porto, given that, if there was no club to beat the ‘sales’ clause, there should also be no one available to pay a much higher value.
Al Nassr was on top of the Portuguese international, having offered him a millionaire salary, but the Porto SAD did not receive any concrete proposal from the Saudi club where Cristiano Ronaldo plays.
Otávio’s agent, Israel Oliveira, also noted the interest of Inter Milan and Juventus in the player, but so far there are no known advances from the Italian giants.
Knowing that SAD does not negotiate the transfer of the Portuguese international under the termination clause, as he is a key player in Sérgio Conceição’s team, everything indicates that the Porto universe can breathe with relief, since Otávio’s future should pass by Dragon.
