This Wednesday morning, the CBF legal department announced it would send a representation to the FIFA Disciplinary Committee asking for Otamendi’s suspension for the elbow.

The South American football organization considered that there was a “serious error” in the lack of punishment of the Argentine for the elbow. The match referee didn’t even call a foul.
