Meanwhile, the celebration of the victory prompted a reaction from the Netherlands. The two teams clashed again, heating up the atmosphere that had been created during the match, which led to the issuance of yellow cards and red cards (Denzel Dumfries) by referee Mateu Lahoz.
The match was heating up, marred by a total of 18 yellow cards, plus one red card. Otamendi also explained his gesture towards the Netherlands.
