Tears of joy and full cheers
Over 340,000 prizes were distributed to Norwegian players on Tuesday evening, but it was a man in his 60s from Østre Toten in the Inland region who won the national prize in the Eurojackpot of one million kroner.
The man was at work when we got in touch with him, but that didn’t stop the man from feeling the emotions of becoming a millionaire.
– Now it stopped here. It’s too much for me now. My God, this came up as a surprise, says the man before the tears of joy take over. Now I won’t freeze for another winter, the man cheered.

– Needs insulation in the house
Østretottingen has a house that needed a little love both inside and out, so a large part of the prize will go towards insulation and new cladding, but the kitchen will also probably get a bit of the winnings.
– I will call my partner afterwards, but right now I can’t even get up, the 60-year-old said.
Suddenly a colleague of the man walked past. Even then, the new millionaire couldn’t hold back the tears of joy. He tried to explain to his colleague what had just happened, and after a few attempts with both crying and breathing breaks, the cheers were in full swing. There were congratulations, probably hugs and most likely a form of celebration.
– This was unexpected. Like lightning from a clear sky. This was very nice, says the humble millionaire to Norsk Tipping.
