Boss Ostróda command subinsp. Marcin Danowski, concerned about the sight of the car in which animals had been transported a few days earlier, notified the duty officer. The latter, in turn, sent a patrol there, which stopped the suspicious car for inspection.

As it turned out, suspicions officer they were not unfounded. After the vehicle was stopped, the KMP uniform in Ostróda they noticed that there were five calves in his trunk.
The driver of a passenger car did not avoid responsibility on the part of the officers for an unusual attempt to transport animals – he was fined. Fortunately, nothing happened to the five calves he tried to transport in the trunk.
Due to the fact that the driver could not continue to transport in this way animals, an acquaintance of the farmer was asked for help, who undertook to look after the calves until their owner arranges appropriate transport in accordance with the regulations.
