ÖSTERSUND (JT) Last Friday was the opening of the Parasport WC in biathlon and cross-country skiing, Nordic Skiing, in Östersund. For the first time, TV broadcasts the competitions, which pleases Jessica Bollnert, communications manager of the Swedish Parasport Federation.
– It has never happened in Sweden and with the WC, it is historic.
Jessica, who has experience from other locations, is impressed by Östersund.
– It is unique how you collaborate here. It can’t be saidcarry on, it just happens. Everyone is involved and working, Destinationsbolaget, Mittuniversitetet, officials and others. The municipality has held our hand the whole way. I have never experienced that kind of collaboration anywhere else.
