Die »Austrian Advertising« (ÖW) reported new management appointments in three of its 21 foreign offices. In France, Kathrin Weiss-Reinthaler from 1 October 2024 new Head of Market and in Switzerland this role will be from 1 January 2025 Eva Egger Both will succeed Carmen Breuss, who has been responsible for the further development of ÖW’s foreign markets as Head of Market Development since the beginning of the summer.
Helen Bitschnau will become Market Representative in Poland on January 1, 2025. Bitschnau will support Robert Gröblacher in this role as Deputy. In addition to his role as Head of Market Poland, he has recently also taken on the role of Chief Head of Markets and thus the overall management of the markets.
Weiss-Reinthaler: Career start in the luxury hotel industry
Kathrin Weiss-Reinthaler is since February 2023 Market Representative at the ÖW in Paris. She was already Campaign & Marketing Manager in London from 2019 to 2023 and previously Marketing Manager in Dubai from 2015 to 2019.
Her professional beginnings She worked in the luxury hotel industry, working at the Emirates Palace Abu Dhabi and the Grand Hotel Vienna. Weiss-Reinthaler has a Master of Public Administration from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stenden University Leeuwarden.
Eva Egger: Return to the ÖW
Eva Egger is moving from »Naturenergie Holding AG« in Laufenburg, Switzerland, back to »Österreich Werbung«. She was already from 2018 to 2023 at the ÖW in Vienna in the area of Market & Product Development.
She began her career as a marketing manager at “Österreich Werbung Deutschland” in Berlin and gained further experience as a marketing account manager at “Scoop & Spoon” and at “Bipa Parfümerien”. Eva Egger has a Master of Arts in Global Studies from the “Karl-Franzens-University Graz” and a Bachelor of Arts in Management of International Business Processes from the “FH Joanneum Graz”.
Helen Bitschnau: From the USA to Poland
Helen Bitschnau works since 2022 at »Austria Werbung« in New York in the Travel Trade & Media division. Previously, she worked as Sales & Marketing Director at the »Hotel Post« in Lech am Arlberg from 2018 to 2022.
Bitschnau completed a Master of Arts in Entrepreneurship & Tourism with a focus on Marketing Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management in the Tourism and Leisure Industry, both at the »MCI Management Center Innsbruck«.
