Ostapenko retains its position in the WTA rank

In the world ranking of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), Latvia’s leading player Alona Ostapenko has maintained her 12th position, while there has been one change in the top ten.

The leader of the WTA rank remains the Australian Ashley Barthi, followed by the Czech Barbora Krejchikova and the Belarusian Arina Sabalenko. The fourth is still Iga Švjonteka from Poland, followed by Anete Kontaveita from Estonia. Maria Sakari, a Greek woman, rose to the sixth place from the seventh place, pushing the Spaniard Paul Bados down one place. The eighth is Karolina Plīškov from the Czech Republic, but Garvinje Mugurusa from Spain and Onsa Žabér from Tunisia retained her ninth and tenth place, respectively. Mārtiņš Podžus has lost 51 places and occupies the 741st position, Roberts Štrombahs (767) is 25 places lower, but Kārlis Ozoliņš has lost 371 places (1431). Meanwhile, Artūrs Lazdiņš has improved his position by two places (shared 1635th place), three places lower than in the previous rank is Jānis Podžus (divided 1988), but Mārtiņš Rocēns has resigned by six places (shared 2067).

In the ranking of doubles, M. Podžus has dropped by 18 positions to 577th place, Strombah (615) has lost two places, and Gulbis has two places to 779th place. Ozoliņš has slipped three places to position 952, J. Podžus is five places higher than a week ago (1316), Lazdiņš has regained seven positions (1401). Meanwhile, Rocen rose by eight places (1664) and Daniel Linkun-Morozov rose four places to 1889.
