Latvia’s leading tennis player Alona Ostapenko on Saturday paired with Ukrainian Ludmila Kičenok reached the second round of the Indian Wells “WTA 1000” series doubles tournament. In the first round, the Latvian / Ukrainian duo beat the international duo Shelby Rogers (USA) / Ajla Tomljanoviča (Australia) – 6-3, 6-3.

In the first set, Kichenok and Ostapenko used the first break ball in the second and sixth games, but lost the third game. In the second set, Kickenoka and Ostapenko had a break ball in the first game, but as in the fifth game, it remained unused.
