Mexico City. After a year and a half of not receiving his sports scholarship, diver Osmar Olvera finally receives the economic stimulus that corresponds to his results at the international level.
“From me I already receive my scholarship, it was returned to Juan (Celaya) and me, just before Ana left. Now we are calmer and we can train one hundred percent. “We are optimistic after Rommel’s arrival because he is prepared and wants to do things well,” said the man from the capital, winner of two medals at the Paris Olympic Games.
The one and three meter trampoline specialist is enjoying his last days of rest as he is close to starting his preparation for Los Angeles 2028.
“In November my coach Majin returns from China and I return to training, we want to beat the Chinese no matter what the cost and that is why I hope that camps will be authorized for me in that country.”
Next year, Osmar’s most important challenge is the World Championships, where he hopes to present jumps of greater difficulty.
“One of them would be the four and a half lap one that gives me a gain of four tenths, I have already done it in training but it is still not perfect.”
