Oslo has nine weeks of school holidays. But these municipalities have found another solution to the holiday tangle.

Many respond that the summer holidays for Oslo students are a full nine weeks this year. The reason is a late exam in 2023, said the Education Agency in Oslo. But it turns out that several municipalities have shorter summer holidays, despite the fact that the whole country has the same exam date.

This year, the last school day is Friday 17 June. The first school day after the holiday is Monday 22 August.
