Oslo Municipality more than doubles the overtime pay for teachers and nurses who work extra due to the corona pandemic.
The agreement applies to people in the Education Agency, the Children and Family Agency, the Welfare Agency, the Health Agency, the Nursing Home Agency and in the districts, and applies from today until April 2022.
It came into place between the municipality and the various unions.
– I am really happy that the parties have succeeded in agreeing on a very good agreement, says City Councilor for Finance Einar Wilhelmsen in a press release.
Many employees in the municipality have worked a lot through the pandemic.
– We hope that this will be an extra motivation. We more than double the overtime payment and expand the right to use overtime, with the greatest possible use of volunteering, says Wilhelmsen.
