SKULLERUD (AVISA OSLO): The emergency services moved out to report a fire in a building at Skullerud a little before two o’clock on Monday afternoon.
– The fire brigade has extinguished the fire. Extinguishing will take place throughout the afternoon. The building has burns in the cladding in addition to water damage. The police are opening a case and will investigate the fire, the Oslo police write around a quarter past three.
The fire service informs that it is Skullerud farm that is burning.
– It is burning inside the building and we have no control at all, says duty commander Roy Kristoffersen to Avisa Oslo at 14.13.
They are in the process of extinguishing and searching with smoke divers. There should be no great danger of spreading to other buildings.
A quarter of an hour later, Kristoffersen says that they still have no control.
– But we work to get valuable things out of there, at the same time as we extinguish.
He says they use a chainsaw to get to where it is burning.
– Then we take some temperature measurements, that way we can cut in where there is a very high temperature with a chainsaw, so that we do not have to tear down the house.
