After a few days without precipitation in Oslo, it’s just a matter of preparing for snow challenges in the capital again next week.
– On Sunday there will be lingering weather in Oslo, but on Monday there will be plenty of snow again, says Terje Alsvik Walløe, meteorologist on duty, to Nettavisen.

– Often creates problems
That snowfall probably won’t let up anytime soon either.
– We expect it to start on Monday and last until Tuesday morning. About ten centimeters of snow will fall in Oslo, and west of the capital there may be even more – up to 15 centimeters.
The meteorologist also confirms that a yellow warning for snow will most likely be issued during Sunday.

– It often causes problems with snowfall, we know that from experience this winter. That is why we issue a warning.
Press officer Pernille Aga at the public transport company Ruter says The messenger that they have not considered Monday’s weather in particular.
– But we keep an eye on it continuously, of course. We are in close contact with the operators, says Aga.
Announces a new round with hålke
The operators are the bus companies that own the buses that are run on behalf of Ruter.
– We brace ourselves for what is to come and plan according to the weather forecast. But we think it will go well. The operators are ready and are taking any measures, says Aga.
Aga says, among other things, that they are ready to clear snow at the bus garages, so that the buses can get out easily and quickly.
Over the course of next week, cold degrees can turn into hot degrees, according to the Norwegian Meteorological Institute. And that means quickly falling again.
– The temperatures will stay below zero, but on Tuesday it could be zero degrees. So there won’t be any melting at first, but over the course of the week it may get wetter. It can get sloppy again. It looks like it will be plus degrees on Thursday and Friday next week, but at the weekend the temperatures will drop again – and then it will freeze again, says Walløe.
