OSKA releases new single “Maybe I Love You”

After “Forever Blue”, the indie pop singer and songwriter OSKA from Vienna is currently releasing her new single “Maybe I Love You”. At the end of August she will be playing alongside Maggie Rogers as support for Coldplay in Vienna.

Vienna-based indie pop singer-songwriter OSKA recently released the single “Forever Blue”, a playful and nostalgic song that is the perfect addition to summer road trip playlists. With twangy guitars, heavenly harmonies and upbeat percussion, OSKA reminded us to find comfort in the little things in life – with the people we love most.

“Maybe I Love You” is OSKA’s fourth new single of 2024. She previously released the enchanting and hopeful “April, May, July,” the melodic and soothing “Like A Song,” and the playful and nostalgic “Forever Blue,” all of which will be featured on her upcoming album—details to follow.

After making a splash at SXSW, being named “Vienna’s rising star” by LUNA Collective and “best act” and “crowd silencer” by Indie Shuffle, OSKA is back in Europe where she has just kicked off her “Forever Blue” tour. The tour includes headline dates, festival appearances and four very special nights opening for Coldplay in her hometown alongside Maggie Rogers.

OSKA’s 2022 debut album “My World, My Love, Paris” features 12 songs in which OSKA weaves together stories about her family life and the experiences of a young person growing up in the world. With openness and charm, her authentic self comes through in honest lyricism and tender melodies. The album has more than 20 million Spotify streams and has been highly praised by media outlets such as Under The Radar (“OSKA has a special talent for bittersweet yearning poeticism”), COLLiDE (“there is an underlying sense that everyone can relate to OSKA’s melancholic disposition”), Atwood (“determined to inspire listeners through poetic verse and beautiful melodies alike”), Clout (“Must-hear pieces of work”), Nothing But Hope & Passion (“the result is as profound as it is charming”) and many more. She spent much of 2022 and 2023 on tour, making her Great Escape debut and supporting Stu Larsen, Haevn, SYML and most recently Tom Odell.

OSKA grew up in a small village in Lower Austria and moved to Vienna at the age of 18 to pursue her first love, music. She started busking on the streets and squares of the capital while studying pop and jazz singing. In 2020, she signed with Nettwerk and released her debut EP “Honeymoon Phase”, which received great critical acclaim. The album’s five songs have reached more than 8 million Spotify streams and earned her the XA Music Export Award at the Waves Vienna Festival 2020 and the Amadeus Austrian Music Award for “Best Sound” in 2022. More news from OSKA to come!
