Ukrainian pensioners and IDPs in the uncontrolled territories are likely to be left without payments. Oschadbank announced the resumption of physical identification from September 1, 2023.
In connection with the end of quarantine, from September 1, 2023, Oschadbank resumes the physical identification of pensioners and recipients of social (targeted) assistance from among internally displaced persons (IDPs). About it informs bank press office.

If the identification is not completed in time, Oschadbank stops operations on the client’s card account before he visits one of the branches.
It should be noted that it is extremely difficult for pensioners who are caught in the uncontrolled territories by martial law to leave. This is the path that needs to be done through the territory of Russia, and then through several European countries.
How will the physical identification take place.
Identification will take place in three stages:
Personal appeal of a pensioner or recipient of social assistance to any branch of Oschadbank. You should have a passport or other identity document and a main payment card or main EPU with you. Presenting to an employee of Oschadbank at the same time the main payment card or the main EPU and a passport or other identification document. Pensioner or social assistance recipient conducting a cash withdrawal operation or reviewing the account balance through a cash POS terminal (i.e. performing a transaction involving the entry of a PIN code by a person) or setting/changing a PIN code using the main payment card or main EPU .
In the absence of physical identification by recipients of pensions or social payments from internally displaced persons, Oschadbank will stop debit transactions on the card account.
After the passage of physical identification inside the displaced person according to the established procedure, debit transactions on the account are automatically unblocked by the bank no later than the next calendar day.
