Sean Penn has called for a boycott of the Oscars if Ukrainian President Zelenskyy does not give a speech.

Penn criticized the organizers even before the ceremony. In an interview with CNN, the 61-year-old said: A speech by Zelenskyj at the show in front of an audience of millions would be a great opportunity for a speech. Even before the award ceremony, Penn feared that the film academy would not pursue it further. If so, it would be “the most shameless moment in Hollywood history,” Penn said.
