Because while the new corona variant BA.2 is spreading fast in California, there is a great deal of fear among the organizers that this year’s Oscar award will be a so-called super-spreader event.

Therefore, all guests must be able to refer to two negative PCR tests and be fully vaccinated to get their foot in the door at the Dolby Theater where the award ceremony takes place. Anyone who has five days or less since a positive coronal test will be denied entry to the event.

Star-studded celebrity party

After the Oscars, it is a well-known fact that the Hollywood elite breaks up and meets at various parties. The biggest of them is also the Renate Reinsve confirmed to Nettavisen earlier this week that she will participate in, namely Vanity Fair’s venerable Oscar party.

Funke and his team have also spent a full three days preparing the meal to be served at the celebrity party.

In addition to the Vanity Fair party, there are also celebrities’ own parties. Two that are worth mentioning are Beyonce and Jay-Z’s party, and Elton John, who is also used to celebrating with celebrity friends after the statuettes are in the hands of their new owners. This year, however, Elton John is the distance host, as he is out on an extensive tour that could not be combined with the party. Therefore, he has handed over the responsibility to two who are very close to him: her husband David Furnish and his best friend Lady Gaga.
