He is only eighteen, but Luis Oscar Santos as OSKI is well on his way to becoming a fixture in the world of pop and hip-hop with his new single ‘Apologies’. He prefers not to play out too much that he is the son of Tine Embrechts. “That’s why we rarely do interviews together. So this is a special one, isn’t it?” laughs Tine in ‘All Day’. “Of course I am very proud of him, I think he is super talented and that the whole world should hear his EP (extended play, ed.). But I also know it’s hard to hear again that he gets opportunities because he’s ‘the son of’. Oscar is quite allergic to that. We also both have completely different audiences. But I hope there will come a time soon when they call me ‘the mother of OSKI’. I’m ready, take over, son!”
