KOMPAS.com – Bek muda Oscar Mingueza made his debut for Barcelona in the Blaugrana’s 4-0 big win over Dynamo Kiev on Wednesday (11/25/2020) in the morning WIB.
The 21-year-old player played in the central defense sector to accompany Clement Lenglet in the absence of Gerard Pique, Samuel Umtiti and Ronald Araujo.
Coach Ronald Koeman is also without Sergio Busquets and Frenkie de Jong, the defensive midfielders who have played as central defenders.
As a result, Oscar Mingueza got the opportunity to step down to defend Barcelona’s first team, some 14 years after joining the Blaugrana.
Mingueza follows in the footsteps of the likes of Marti Riverola, Sergi Samper and Carles Alena as someone who scours all of Barcelona’s age category teams down to grazing for the first squad.
