Oscar Michel Tschirky, the incredible story of a Loclois in New York

At 21, he entered the brand new Waldorf hotel, for which he organizes incredible evenings bringing together 2000 people. All of New York’s powerful people know Oscar and enjoy rubbing shoulders with the most famous butler of the era. At 73, after the death of his wife, he retired to his property in New Paltz and when he died in 1950, the flags of the Waldorf Astoria were lowered for several days.
