Osasuna were awarded a penalty after Budimir was fouled by Sergi Dominguez. Budimir went on as a substitute and succeeded in giving Osasuna a 3-1 lead in the 71st minute.
Budimir almost scored a hat-trick in the 82nd minute. There was a hard shot from close range that Inaki Pena was able to parry.
Osasuna added to Barcelona’s suffering in the 85th minute. Abel Bretones scored a goal from outside the penalty box that changed the score to 4-1.
Barcelona scored a consolation goal in the 89th minute. Ansu Fati’s shot from outside the penalty box reduced the deficit to 2-4.
This result is Barcelona’s first defeat in LaLiga 2024/2025, but so far they are still at the top of the standings with 21 points. Osasuna moved up to sixth place with 14 points.
