The Ortenau Nutrition Center is offering an online lecture on the topic of “Introducing complementary foods” on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 7 p.m.
Infants should receive their first porridge at the earliest from the beginning of the 5th month, but no later than the 7th month. The energy and nutrient content in milk food is no longer sufficient. In her practice-oriented lecture, freelance nutrition speaker Ingrid Vollmer-Haug gives valuable tips on the gradual introduction of complementary foods.
All interested parents are welcome. Participation is free of charge. The number of participants is limited. The online lecture by the Ortenau Nutrition Center on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 6 p.m. will be about how you can strengthen your immune system in addition to the well-known hygiene rules in times when viral infections severely affect life.
A balanced diet, regular exercise and sufficient sleep are important protective factors and strengthen the immune system – easy to say in theory, often difficult to implement in practice. Due to increased stays at home, working in the home office, double workloads, boredom, frustration or stress, individual everyday nutrition changes. The consequences are often a lack of nutrients, weight gain and a bad mood.
In this lecture, nutritionist Silke Bauer from the Ortenau Nutrition Center provides practical tips on how the protective factors can be implemented in everyday life.
