15 minutes. In a statement issued by The Plaza Live on Monday, it announced that it will close its facilities as of June 1 due to renovation work, but did not report the completion date of the same.
Officials reported that “Plaza Live will begin renovations on June 1, 2023. The venue will be closed to the public during this time, but the improvements will be well worth the wait.”
A portion of the renovation project will be funded by the Orange County Tourist Development Tax and according to the press release, will enhance the “overall experience for both patrons and performers.”
It also says the message that the renovations will include “a completely renovated lobby, infrastructure improvements, a new sound system, lighting and stage equipment. The seating area will also see a redesign, improving visibility and greater comfort.”
“He Plaza Live It has been a cornerstone of the Orlando entertainment scene for years, hosting a wide range of concerts, comedy shows, and other events. The renovations will allow the venue to continue providing high-quality entertainment experiences for decades to come,” says the statement posted on the center’s social media.
