Orlando City is currently tracking the 20-year-old with the intention of signing him at the end of the 2024 MLS season. It should be noted that Kasule’s contract with New York Red Bulls II expires on December 31.
Informed sources close to the player have revealed that Orlando City has made contact over the past week, offering a three-year contract to the technically gifted attacking midfielder. Orlando has been interested for some time, but contact wasn’t made until the weekend. They want to sign Ibrahim (Kasule) for three years and the boy is up for it. This is an opportunity for him to play in the same league as big names like Messi and Suarez, so he is ready for the next steps.
Although he continues to play in MLS Next Pro (the reserves league) with New York Red Bulls II, Kasule has already been called up to the first team (New York Red Bulls), where he made just one appearance last season.
