For the daughter it was 10 minutes of terror: she tried to defend herself, as evidenced by the wounds on her hands and the chaos found in the bathroom, where she was surprised by her mother. She screamed, she tried to run. In vain. Everything was ascertained by the scientific police, who examined the 13-year-old’s body.
The murder took place at lunchtime and immediately afterwards the woman threw herself from her bedroom balcony, attempting to commit suicide. She suffered serious head injuries and was transported to the Sassari hospital in red code. She suffered a head injury and a fractured pelvis, but she is not risking her life.
The words that dad Piero addressed to his daughter are poignant, entrusting them to social media. “Dad’s love,” she wrote, “I know you won’t be able to read me, but my heart wants to communicate with your soul. As long as I’m alive, you will continue to be my first thought, every day”.
The investigation into the murder is entrusted to the mobile team of the Oristano police headquarters. An autopsy is awaited on the 13-year-old’s body.
