Joke Meijer, as is his real name, has to undergo a round of chemo tablets. In her message, she states that she and the medical team “have a good hope that everything will be fine.”
Orgel Joke reported earlier this month that he has a very rare form of hemophilia A, a clotting disorder in which the blood doesn’t clot (properly).
In the message, he thanks his followers “for all the kind messages and support” and wishes people “all happiness and health in 2023”.
Orgel Joke became an internet hit at the onset of the corona crisis. On Instagram, where he has more than 40,000 followers, he has posted countless videos of him playing famous songs on his keyboard. He says he did it to cheer people up in corona time.
