Like every weekend, things are moving in the Lille metropolis (North), ce Saturday, November 27, 2021. We list you some ideas for outings, to do in the area.
Christmas atmosphere
A little less than a month before Christmas, the cities of the metropolis are adorned with the colors of the end of the year party. Illuminated streets, magical windows… This Saturday, you can stroll through the streets of Lille and the metropolis in the typical end-of-year atmosphere.
The Lille Christmas Village will be open, like the special zero waste Christmas market in Roubaix, which opens on November 27. The opportunity to find gift ideas for the whole family!
Book fair, organic fair
Two key events in the metropolis return this weekend:
- the Naturabio fair, in Lille Grand Palais, with a local artisans’ market, conferences and meetings around organic and healthy living;
- the Dédica’Marcq family book fair in Marcq-en-Baroeul, with around twenty authors present to present their children’s books, an exhibition of illustrations and another of Playmobil.
Concerts in bars and at the Zeppelin of Saint-André
This Saturday will be the last day of the Culture Bar-Bars festival, which takes place in several culture cafes in Lille. Concerts and Dj sets are on the program!
The Zeppelin of Saint-André also hosts a concert: the female folk music duo Pur-Sang, and in the first part the singer from Lille Efyx, who will come to present his latest opus to date.
Comedies for all!
This Saturday, you will be able to treat yourself to a good slice of laughter, at the Comédie de Lille, with:

The Spotlight invites you to open hostilities from 5 p.m. with a moment of improvisation, in The Jesters Tournament, hosted by The Royal League of Strandovia. Laura Domenge will then come and talk to you about many subjects, from her hair to her mustache, including what she would say to Mylène Farmer if she met her or people who eat their burgers with cutlery …
Show in Tourcoing
An extraordinary creation, Dark Noon, “True false western on the gold rush” by Tue Biering, will be performed at the Ideal, Tourcoing theater, at 6 pm this Saturday.
Exhibition side
If you want to take advantage of the weekend to stroll through the museums, we recommend it, of course. The hardest part will be to make a choice!
In Lille, at the Palais des Beaux-arts, you are invited to try the “Goya Experience”, while the Hospice Comtesse lets street art come into the museum.
At La Piscine de Roubaix, several exhibitions are visible, on the occasion of the anniversary of its 20 years of opening. In particular, you can (re) discover works by Alexei von Jawlensky.
At LaM de Villeneuve d’Ascq, we invite you to dive into the heart of the quest for renewal of a major artist of modern art, Paul Klee, while a tribute to Mahjoub Ben Balla is paid to MUba Eugène Leroy de Tourcoing, in the exhibition called “The music of the gesture”. Also in Tourcoing, the graduating students of Fresnoy de Tourcoing invite you to dream, this year, in the exhibition Panorama 23.
As a reminder, our favorite exhibition for little visitors “Neither bad nor nice”, on the wolf, is always open to the public at the Natural History Museum.
With this list (far from being exhaustive), you should have some ideas to note!
