In a video posted on Instagram, the rapper announces that he has slipped five golden tickets into his new album
The Caen Willy Wonka. The day after the release of his long-awaited new album “Civilization”, rapper Orelsan follows in the footsteps of the chocolatier invented by Roald Dahl in his novel “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”.
In a video posted on Instagram, the musician with the seven Victories of the music announced to have slipped in five of his CDs of the golden tickets. So this time, no chocolate factory visit, but a lifetime invitation, and for two people, to all Orelsan concerts. Something to make fans dream.
Marketing campaign
An approach that is part of the very skilful marketing campaign of the almost forty-something. To promote his new album, the rapper did not skimp on the means. From the beginning of the fall, the documentary “Never show that to anyone”, shot by his brother, retraced the singer’s career.
The officialization of the album will come in stride, in October. The opening of pre-orders highlights a few thousand limited editions of “Civilizations”, which sold like hotcakes and which the rapper documented via his Instagram account, as when a computer bug sold more copies autographed than was expected: the Caennais then filmed himself putting his hand in the dough by signing each of these ultra-limited editions.
