Orel Mangala: Potential Transfer to Italian Clubs and Euro 2024 Prospects

Orel Mangala has changed dimension in 2023. The Nottingham Forest player has become an important element within the Red Devils. His performances with the national team and club allowed him to attract the attention of two major Italian clubs.

Mangala, outgrown Nottingham Forest?

Arriving in 2017 in Stuttgart from Anderlecht after a stint in Dortmund, Mangala gained experience in Germany. Loaned for a season to Hamburg, he then became an important player within the VfB. In the summer of 2023, he took charge of the Premier League and signed with the promoted side, the historic Nottingham Forest. The club is fighting to maintain its position all season. This season, the coach Steve Cooper trusted him enormously. Out of 19 appearances in the Premier League, he started 17 times. On November 5, he scored a nice and important goal in the 2–0 victory against Aston Villa. He also remained on the bench in the Carabao Cup against Blackpool on January 7.
