In the third and final group stage match in the Champions League qualifiers, Örebro SK fell against Polish Lubawa – which in turn secured promotion.

During the week, Örebro SK was in Croatian Zagreb for the second qualifying stage for the Champions League, Main Round. There, the team started with losses against Dinamo Zagreb and Titograd.
On Friday, the group stage ended against Lubawa, who had yet to lose in the group.
The Polish team would prove to be a few numbers too big, and was able to defeat the Swedish team 10–2. ÖSK’s goals were scored by Pirata and William Gantzhorn.
The victory meant for Lubawa that first place was secured – and thus also the advancement to the Elite Round. For Örebro SK, the European adventure is over for this time.
