Only two days ago, Leksand and Örebro met. Then it was a game in Dalarna and the home team won 4-2.
On Saturday, it was the team from Närke that welcomed Leksand and just like during Thursday’s clash, it was the home team that took the baton.
Örebro took the lead through Nick Halloran who was able to sprinkle the puck after a beautiful preparation by young Leo Carlsson.
However, there was no goal cavalcade, but it took until the end of the second period before the next goal would fall in Behrn Arena, also this for the home team.
Acknowledgment puck danced on the finish line
The 2-0 lead followed into the third period, but was anything but safe and when visiting Leksand got the chance in powerplay barely halfway into the period, the reduction goal came that was in the air through Carter Ashton.
Leksand continued to chase equalizer and took out the goalkeeper with a few minutes left of the match and got some really dangerous chances. On one occasion, Örebro goalkeeper Jhonas Enroth got to see when the puck really danced on the goal line before he could block it.
But in the end, it was still Örebro who got the last word in front of the home crowd when Oliver Eklind was able to puncture the match by putting the puck in the empty net.
