Mack announces that it is now possible to order the electric version of its medium-duty MD model.
The MD launched in 2020, adding Class 6 and 7 options to Mack’s product lineup. The electric version now offers a zero-emission option.

Visibly pleased with the announcement, Mack Trucks North America President Jonathan Randall said, “Mack is committed to moving towards a more sustainable, low-carbon future, and the MD Electric is another step in that journey. Since we launched the MD Electric in March, customers have shown immense interest in it, so we are delighted that these customers can now place their orders. »
The MD is the second electric truck offered by Mack, after the electric LR intended for waste collection applications and whose production began in December 2021.
The electric MD can be ordered in a class 6 or class 7 version and is equipped with a synchronous motor that can be powered by a battery with a capacity of 150 kWh or 240 kWh.
