On the one hand, the Symphony Orchestra of the City of Asunción (OSCA) will perform as part of its cycle “Culture in the neighborhoods” with the concert “Fun symphony for children from 0 to 99 years old.” It will be at 20:00 in the Santo Domingo de Guzmán parish (Mother Ravasco and Dr. Centurión), Lambaré, with free access until the capacity allowed by sanitary protocol is completed.
Under the direction of José Miguel Echeverría, the OSCA will offer works from the universal repertoire and by Paraguayan authors, to conclude with the piece “Aty Guasú”, by Luis Szarán, a composition that allows public participation. In addition, on the occasion the tenor Hugo Valenzuela and the harpist Marcos Lucena will perform as soloists.
On the date, the Chamber Music Cycle of the National Symphony Orchestra (OSN) will also continue with the presentation of “The night of the trio for clarinet, horn and piano”. The recital will be in its auditorium located in Tte. Cnel. Ayala Velázquez 376 c / Cap. Brizuela, at 7:30 p.m.
The protagonists of the concert will be the clarinetist Belén Ojeda (Paraguay), the horn player Pedro Salazar (Portugal) and the pianist David Lee (Korea), a trio that will premiere works by Franz Lachner, Friedrich Voigt and Carl Reinecke.
