This year’s autumn season of “OratoriO” will start with the concert program “Moon music and poetry”, where you will be able to hear Persian poetry read by Rēzia Kalniņa. Iranian violinist Azade Magdsodi and pianist Andis Paegle will perform in the program.

At the end of October, a new play by Sean Grennan, “The Stone Passes Away”, translated by Voldemar Rodes, will be premiered, while “OratoriO” will become a Christmas concert story for the first time in the middle of the season.
On the other hand, at the end of the season, the musical “City” by Uģ Prauliņas and Guntars Godiņas will be performed, which, as Rēzija Kalniņa says, is “a path from freedom to imprisonment and then back to freedom.”

TVNET invited the director for a short conversation to clarify the status of her employment relationship at the Daile Theater.
What are the changes related to your work at Dailes Theater?
I am still an actress of the Daile Theater, but I have gone freelance. My inner feeling is that I need to enrich myself so that I can give something of myself and not be a cog in the machine.
