Orange Vigilance for Violent Storms | Updates from Météo-France as Risks Decrease in North-East France

Orange vigilance for the risk of violent storms has been lifted in the north-east of the country and “the violent nature of the storms is gradually fading”, announced Météo-France in its bulletin published at 00:15.

Twelve departments remain in orange: Cantal, Averon, Haute-Loire, Lozère, Ardèche, Loire, Rhône, Drome, Ain, Isère, Savoie and Haute-Savoie.

Eighteen departments are on yellow alert.

“The violence of the storms remains to be monitored, it is not generalized but could still locally cause some damage”, warns Météo-France
