Orange launches the best porting offer to date: 50% discount for 2 years

Someone from Orange told me some time ago that they are preparing a great offer, and here it is: those who connect to the Orange network will receive a 50% discount on their mobile subscription for a period of 2 years!

There is also a 50% discount for those who want Internet + TV + fiber mobile packages, at least. I find it great value for money, especially as all Orange subscriptions include 5G and data transfer. You can see them here and there seem to be good deals on membership renewals too.

For example, a Smart subscription with unlimited data traffic in Romania and with 5.96 GB in movement costs 5.5 euros / month for two years. It even includes access to the 5G + network, which is now available in 40 cities across the country, and which in my tests it exceeded 1 Gbps on mobile from a year ago.

Orange recently changed the membership structure, which is now 5 in number:

• A joke: 3 euros / month, 10 GB of 5G traffic
• Extra fun: 4 euros / month, 50 GB of 5G traffic
• Clever: 5.5 euros / month, unlimited 5G + traffic
• Smart Plus: 7.5 euros / month, unlimited 5G + traffic
• Smart elite: 12.5 euros / month, unlimited 5G + traffic

All of them also include unlimited national minutes and SMS, different amounts of mobile data traffic, international minutes, a variable number of TV channels through Orange TV Go and other benefits.

The Smart ones, for example, include a 50% discount on Max, while Smart Plus and Smart Elite also include 3 free months of Netflix if you subscribe to the this service through Orange, which is a good bonus. These two also include the Number Sharing option through which you can get the same phone number on your watch or another mobile phone.

Looks like the best deals Orange has ever managed to bring me, and certainly a good time to do it, as the 50% discount runs for two years.

It’s the offer that makes me behave too. Paying 28 lei / month for two years for unlimited 5G + traffic is very good. Lately I’ve been using my phone more and more as a hotspot and I’ve even exceeded the imported traffic… Yesterday I started the mode carry (for me it’s PJ to PJ, but there are also the same offers) and I’m waiting for a messenger to bring in the new contract to sign.

In addition, there is an offer of 50% discount on Fiber + TV for the first 6 months. For example, a 940 Mbps fiber internet package, with a Wi-Fi 6 wireless router included, as well as 167 TV channels, costs 31.5 lei/month in the first months.
