From August 4 to 6, the “Laba Daba” music and art festival will take place, bringing together both domestic and foreign musicians, theater, dance and performance artists. The announced musical program was supplemented with 13 more music groups and projects from Latvia and abroad.
From this program extension, some names stand out – the turbo band “Oranžas Brivdienas”, the alternative post-punk group “Bēdu Brāļi” (in February received the “Golden Microphone” for the best album released last year in the category of rock and metal music), the dark post-folk group “Juuk”, rather rare the notable (and long-lost) groups Tumors and Nohow, representative of electronic dance music Vultura (debutant of 2022 and author of the best album in the category of electronic and dance music), the excellent concert group Indygo and the attractive DJ Krankenwagen.
Norwegian avant-garde artists “Sturle Dagsland”, Afro-soul musician from Uganda (!) Apio Moro, German fan-punk group “Brass Riot” and Israeli rhythmic music project “Shaman Shaman” will complement the program of foreign guests. As you know, the power girl trio “Shishi” from Lithuania, the legendary synthpop group “Jumprava”, the rock concert magnates “Dzelzs Wilks”, the bright punk group “ŠŅK”, the alternative/indie rock association “Satellites LV” were already announced in the “Laba Dabas” program. , the electro-pop project “Podruga”, the post-rock chamber orchestra “Sonntags Legion” and many, many others, including a brand new association “NSR” (or “Restorators of Never-before-Senses”), which will conjure up a scene for the album “Medicine and Art” by the legendary group “NSRD” “.
