Orange epidemiological traffic light remains in CDMX next week

For the eleventh consecutive week, the epidemiological traffic light for Covid-19 of Mexico City will remain in color orange, from September 7 to 13, reported the head of government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.

He stressed that since the beginning of this month there has been a slight decrease in hospitalizations; on September 1, 2,942 patients were registered in general beds and intubation; on September 2, 2,899; while on September 3 there were 2,857 patients.

For this week, the capital’s government established adjustments in the rules for the activities of establishments; in restaurants the hours will be extended by one hour, so they may close at 23:00; and the shopping centers and department stores will extend their service by an hour and a half, so they may close at 6:30 p.m.

In the construction sector, one working day is extended, so they can work from Monday to Saturday.

As for the shops of the Historic centerThey may also close at 6:30 p.m., the program for even and odd ends is concluded, and work is being done on ordering the streets.

It is also allowed, for this week, the opening of exhibitions and convention centers, only with 30% of their capacity, with a maximum stay time of 50 minutes.
