Orange Alert: Heatwave Hits the Alpes-Maritimes; High Temperatures Expected

The heat wave is here. A new heat wave will hit the Alpes-Maritimes this Sunday, the department has also been placed on orange alert by Météo France.

“This is a heatwave episode that is not exceptional for the season, but whose persistence requires special vigilance, especially for sensitive or exposed people”, specifies Météo-France.

According to Météo-France, this rise in temperatures should continue on Monday, with rising maximums expected in Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur, from 37 to 40 degrees. Orange vigilance must begin this Sunday at 6 a.m.

The night from Saturday to Sunday also promises to be hot. According to Météo France, we expect 23° in Nice. Temperatures far from all those expected in other cities in France.
