On Saturday, October 9, 2021, the inauguration ceremony of the Tesla Factory in Berlin took place. Among the happy guests at the festivity was an Oradean, Vlad Coste, the president of the Tesla Romania Club, along with nine other Romanians.
“In our club we have over 100 members from all over the country. There are many more Tesla car owners in Romania. Between five and ten people from each country were invited to the festivity. From Eastern Europe, only we Romanians were invited. It was like a festival for all ages, from children to the elderly. About 10,000 people “, says Vlad Coste. The Romanian delegation also included: Florea Elvis Bădoiu, Radu Cristian, Emil Farcaș, Andrei Lorincz, Monica Lorincz, Mihai Zăman, Arnold Reman, Rareș Vrîncean and Alexandru Sfăt.
Tesla the superlative
The man from Oradea was impressed by what he saw in the Tesla Plant in Berlin, considering that everything that is done and how it is done there is superlative. He had the opportunity to visit the production line, to see how the cars that represent the future in the automotive field are made. He also did a test drive with the latest Tesla models.
Elon Musk, the owner of Tesla, present at the festivity, invited talented specialists from Romania and Europe to apply for jobs at the Berlin Factory, because the need for geniuses is very high and cannot be covered in a single country.
Tesla models that will be manufactured in Berlin are Model 3 and Model Y, their price varying between 35,000 and 55,000 euros.
Vlad Coste is the owner of a Tesla car from 2019 and says that Oradea is very friendly with this type of car, there are many charging stations in the city. “The costs I had in the 40,000 kilometers traveled by car, since I bought it, are zero. The tax is zero for a car with 800 horsepower, zero running costs, zero problems, much higher comfort “, the young man specified.
Oradea is waiting for another Tesla car, Modes S Plaid, 1,000 horsepower, with three engines, a range of 620 kilometers, acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 1.9 seconds, for which it received promises of to Elon Musk that it will be ready early next year.
Tesla’s general manager said the first vehicles at his new plant in Berlin would be delivered in November at the earliest, but it would take a little longer to reach mass production.
The mass production of this factory will be about 5,000 vehicles per week, but Musk hopes to reach 10,000 vehicles in a relatively short time. Tesla also plans to reach mass production of batteries at this plant by the end of next year.
One of Elon Musk Tesla’s dreams is for the Berlin factory to produce the trucks developed by Tesla at some point.
