More precisely, according to the information provided by observatornews.ro, authorities have warned that there are a lot of snakes in the area, and people are advised to close the doors and windows of apartments. As these reptiles are protected by law, the fine for killing such a snake is a fabulous amount of exactly 5,000 lei!
Snakes have become a common presence in Oradea for more than a month, when the reptiles left their nests with the start of the warm season, to look for food and to mate. In fact, a large snake was spotted right next to a kindergarten on the outskirts of the city! And other specimens, some even reaching one and a half meters in length, were seen in the parks and on the alleys of Oradea.
