SET calculates the SET50 and SET100 indices, effective February 17, 2021, while TTW and TKN have fallen into reserve groups
News reports from the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) revealed that the SET will use the securities of PTT Oil and Retail Public Company Limited (OR), registered and traded on the first day on February 11, 2021, calculates the SET50 and SET100 indices with effect from February 17, 2021 onwards and takes the securities of TTW. Lew Public Company Limited (TTW) left the constituents of the SET50 Index and Taokaenoi Food and Marketing Public Company Limited (TKN) from the constituents of the SET100 Index to the Reserve List of each index.
In this regard, the review of the list of securities used for the calculation of the said index is in accordance with the criteria for the selection of securities during the period stipulated that the new listed securities will be included in the index calculation if the newly listed securities are large, that is Have market capitalization (Market cap) More than 1% of total market cap. Or, there are market caps in the top 20 stocks in the SET50 and SET100 indices, with the lowest market cap taken from the index calculation into the reserve portfolio.
