Ukraine needs weapons.
“Freezing” the war in Ukraine will have serious consequences and turn millions of people into hostages – as in North Korea.
This opinion was expressed by adviser to the head of the Office of the President Mikhail Podolyak.
“What does the Russian occupation of southern Ukraine look like? Filtration concentration camps. Mass arrests and torture. Limited distribution of food. Total control. No rights and freedoms. Freezing the war means getting a new North Korea with millions of hostages,” he stressed.

With this in mind, he once again stressed: “Ukraine needs weapons.”
“We must release the people immediately,” he added.
Earlier, US Ambassador to NATO Julianne Smith noted that the freezing of the military conflict in Ukraine is “one of the possibilities”. The diplomat noted that Russia often resorts to such a technique.
President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasizedthat Ukraine will definitely not go into “such a diplomatic swamp” as a frozen conflict.
“We will not agree to a frozen conflict. I came to the presidency when there was Minsk-1, Minsk-2, there were relevant documents that were raised, so I can say that these were not serious documents. There were agreements on paper, it was frozen conflict. I am against it, we will definitely not have such a document,” Zelensky said.
