Opposition stops Morena; they do not reach a quorum to “dismantle” the Health Fund

Again the opposition reapplies the tactic of not voting in plenary session Chamber of Deputies Y Brunette and its allies do not reach a quorum to endorse the reform to the General law of health Y “Dismantle” the Health Fund, with the purpose of recover 33 billion pesos for the 2021 Income Law.

When the federal deputies sought to approve this opinion, 227 votes were cast in the Chamber of Deputies, 2 abstentions and 3 against, mainly by legislators from Morena, PT, PES and Verde, and with this there were only 232 deputies present .

With this, the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Dulce María Sauri, verified the vote and opened the board to verify the quorum and decreed a recess.

When verifying quorum, only the attendance of 239 deputies was registered, so it was decreed that there were no legislators necessary to continue with the session, which are 251, so the session closed and called for this Wednesday at 11 in the morning and it will restart with this same opinion.
