New Delhi > The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned after the opposition protested on the Manipur issue. The opposition demanded that the House should adjourn and discuss the Manipur issue. In Rajya Sabha, Trinamool Congress MP Derrick O’Brien took center stage and protested. Speaker of the House Jagdeep Dhankar came to the scene against Derrick Obtain. Jagdeep Dhankar said Derrick Obtain is challenging the chair. The speaker said that the issue can be discussed after the question and answer session. MP V Shivdasan had issued a notice asking the House to adjourn and discuss the Manipur issue and the Prime Minister to break his silence. According to rule 267, V Shivdasan MP gave the notice. Even the BJP MLAs in Manipur are criticizing the central government for its criminal negligence.
