He made the accusations after the head of Israel’s Shin Bet Security Agency, Nadav Argaman, warned of unrest in Tel Aviv, as a result of political divisions.

“We are witnessing the biggest electoral fraud in the history of this country, in my opinion in the history of any democracy,” Netanyahu said, as reported by Al Arabiya on Monday (7/6/2021).
“That’s why people feel cheated and they respond, they shouldn’t be silent,” he continued, referring indirectly to Bennett’s campaign promise not to cooperate with Lapid and others.
Bennett had promised not to partner with left, center and Arab parties. But last week he announced with opposition leader Yair Lapid that they had formed a governing coalition with factions from across the political spectrum.

No date has been set for a vote in parliament to approve the new government, following a general election on March 23. However, the new government is expected to be sworn in on June 14.
