Lawyer Perkins Rocha stated this Monday, January 29, that the opposition candidate for this year’s presidential elections, María Corina Machado, has not had her disqualification ratified, simply because she is not disqualified.
Through several messages posted on his account on the social network
Rocha pointed out that it is so true that Machado is not disqualified that she does not demand the annulment of the alleged disqualification ratified by the TSJ, but rather demands de facto remedies against the non-existence of that alleged act.

«The Administrative Political Chamber of the TSJ has not yet issued a ruling on his claim by way of fact. “He has only published an irregular extract on his website,” added the jurist.
Rocha defined the case of the VV leader as an “irregular way of administering justice” and urged Venezuelans not to be able to validate it, saying that a sentence was handed down.
He also said that the Venezuelan Constitution establishes that political rights cannot be deprived or restricted by administrative decisions, since this is only possible through a criminal trial where the right to defense of the accused is respected.
